Hillary Day

Hillary Day (she/her) is a designer with a lifelong connection to the arts and creative education. She lives in Portland, Oregon. Hillary was a camper and a staff member at Nor’wester, and her children have also attended, giving her a multigenerational relationship with the camp. She credits her time at Nor’wester with shaping many of her most important life skills; creativity, collaboration, patience + resilience. Hillary believes deeply in Nor’wester’s mission and the joyful, arts-centered experiences that help young people discover who they are and what they can make with their hands. The Craft Shop at camp is one of her favorite places on earth. She joined the board in 2022 and participates on the Development, SARM, and Site committees.
