Refer a Friend

Today's families have many options competing for their precious summer days with their child - academic enrichment programs, SAT prep classes, school and community sports, family vacations, service learning travel. It is challenging to find a 'traditional' camp, whose mission is to develop the whole child. Check out one of the many web sites parents use to find a camp and you'll see a multitude of organizations offering a tremendous number of options, specialties and concentrations. It can be a daunting process to parents beginning the search for a summer program. Similarly, camps are in a competitive market, vying for the limited time families have together in the summer.

Nor'wester appeals to the family that recognizes that the opportunity to get outside, live with simple comforts, do things that require less technology and more personal effort, and be a productive member of a close community all combine to support the positive development of their child. If you know families that share these values please use this "Refer a Friend" form. Given the challenge facing parents in selecting a summer program and Nor'wester's desire to get information to new families about our program, your personal endorsement will have a significant impact. You will be helping your friends in their efforts to provide a quality experience for their child and supporting Nor'wester in its effort to share the Nor'wester experience with more families

You can also use this form if you know of someone who you believe would be a positive addition to our staff. It takes a certain type of person to work at Nor'wester. They must have a desire to provide a positive experience for children, to work hard, and to give up their much cherished 'creature' comforts for awhile. The quality of our program rests largely on the quality of our staff and your recommendations would be appreciated.
